Crispus, Caesar, 316-326. Follis (Bronze, 19 mm, 2.87 g, 12 h), Rome, circa 320. CRISPVS NOB CAES Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Crispus to left, seen from behind, holding spear in his right hand and shield with his left. Rev. VOT / XV FEL / XX R P in three lines within wreath. RIC 222. Very rare and with attractive earthen highlights. A few faint scratches, otherwise, about extremely fine.

Only eleven examples are known for Crispus with this reverse, of which five from officina P, one in Oxford and four in private hands. Three of these are in the Ramskold Collection.
